What data do we collect
Name, email address and telephone number; stay dates and villa details of your booking; during your stay: identity details of all guests (name, date of birth, nationality and ID/passport number) in connection with the legal registration obligation for guests in Spain (registro de viajeros); credit card details for the pre-authorisation of the security deposit; messages you send us via the contact form on the website.
(Payment details/credit card details for the rental amount itself have been removed: the rental amount is paid exclusively via bank transfer, and we do not store any credit card details for this ourselves. The security deposit will be processed on-site upon arrival via the pin machine. Missing ID/passport details for the guest registration have been added.)
Why we process your data
We process your data to:
- process your reservation or purchase request and execute the rental or purchase agreement;
- to process payments and the security deposit;
- to answer your questions;
- to comply with legal obligations, including the Spanish guest registration requirementtraveler registration).
The basis for this is the performance of the agreement with you, compliance with a legal obligation, or — in the case of the contact form — your consent.
How long do we retain your data
We retain booking data for as long as legally required by Spanish tax and tourism regulations. The security deposit is blocked as a pre-authorisation on your credit card upon arrival via the on-site PIN terminal (no charge) and will be released within 14 days after departure if no damage or additional costs have been found; we do not store credit card details ourselves.
Who do we share your data with
We do not share your data with third parties, with the exception of legal obligations such as the Spanish guest registration (registro de viajeros), which we are required to submit to the competent Spanish authorities. Payment of the rental amount is made via bank transfer directly to Mulhoof Property S.L.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify, erase, and restrict your personal data, and the right to object to the processing. You can submit this request via info@privatehomecollection.eu. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Spanish supervisory authority (Spanish Data Protection Agency).
Security
We take appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data against loss or unlawful use.
