By plane to Xàbia (Jávea)

Xàbia (Jávea) lies between two major airports: Alicante and Valencia. From the Netherlands the flight takes about two and a half hours, and from the airport you are at your villa in just over an hour. In this guide you will find which airport is most convenient and how to travel on.

Alicante Airport (ALC)

Most guests fly into Alicante-Elche. There are direct flights from Amsterdam, Eindhoven and Rotterdam, among others, with airlines such as Transavia, Vueling and Ryanair. The airport is about 90 to 100 kilometres from Xàbia; by car it takes just over an hour via the AP-7.

Valencia Airport (VLC)

Valencia is about the same distance away, to the north, and is a good alternative if it offers a better flight or time. From Valencia, too, the drive to Xàbia takes about an hour to an hour and a half. If you are combining your trip with a few days in the city of Valencia, this is the logical choice.

From the airport to your villa

• Hire car: the most convenient option. The best beaches, restaurants and golf courses are spread out, and a car gives you freedom. Book well ahead in summer, especially if a large group needs several cars.
• Private transfer or chauffeur: comfortable after a long day of travelling. On request we arrange a driver who meets you on arrival; just let us know well in advance.
• Bus: ALSA runs between Xàbia and Alicante (including the airport), via the coastal towns. Cheap, but slower and with limited departure times. Check the ALSA website for the current timetable.

Travel tips

• Choose your flight with check-in in mind: check-in at the villa is from 17:00 and check-out by 10:00 at the latest. A flight around midday fits nicely.
• Travelling as a group: arriving on different flights? Let us know and we will coordinate the handover of the villa.
• Groceries: on the way from the airport you pass large supermarkets, handy for the first evening.
